DESCRIPTION
The RN-42-SM is a though hole, low power and highly flexible Bluetooth socket module. It supports SPP/DUN and HCI Bluetooth interface protocols, is simple to design in, and fully-certified. With its high performance on chip antenna and support for Bluetooth Enhanced Data Rate (EDR), the RN-42-SM delivers up to 3 Mbps data rate for distances to 30 meters. The RN-42-SM socket module is the perfect method for adding Bluetooth wireless capability to existing products without redesign, saving significant time and money.
