With its 2mm through hole design, the RN-121 is perfect for adding embedded wireless LAN/WAN access to products as an optional, stuff as needed feature.  The straightforward ASCII command set simplifies development by managing TCP/IP stack and providing networking network functionality such as UDP, ping, telnet and ftp. Once the module is configured, it automatically associates and authenticates with a network, making your device accessible worldwide.    

The RN-121 supports several hardware interface configurations, including 3.3V TTL signaling, RS-232 (part number RN-123), RS-485 (RN-125) and dual UARTs (RN-122).  The RN-123 and RN-125 have 9-40V power regulation on board making them a perfect fit for industrial applications.
